SwapRound Text Alerts — How members opt in

SwapRound is a local marketplace where parents buy and sell used kids' items. Members agree to text messages inside the SwapRound app (iOS and Android). This page shows the screens they see.

Step 1: Verify your phone

After creating an account, every new member sees the "Verify your phone" screen and enters their own mobile number. Directly under the number field the screen says:

SwapRound will text you a one-time code to confirm this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

followed by links to our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Below that is an optional checkbox, unchecked by default and not required to continue:

Text me updates about my trades, like new offers and pickup reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase.

Program details

• Program name: SwapRound Text Alerts, run by SwapRound LLC.
• Messages: one-time verification codes, and trade updates (new offers, accepted offers, pickup reminders, cancellations) only for members who opt in. No marketing texts.
• Message frequency varies with trade activity. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply HELP for help or email admin@swapround.app. Reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for marketing.
